The following five images for faith alone, grace alone, Christ alone, Scripture alone, and Glory to God alone represent the fundamental doctrines of the Protestant Reformation.
Feel free to copy and use these images on your website or for sharing by posting into social media…
FAITH ALONE (Sola Fide)
For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from observing the law. – Romans 3:28 (NIV)
GRACE ALONE (Sola Gratia)
The law was added so that the trespass might increase. But where sin increased, grace increased all the more, so that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. – Romans 5:20-21 (NIV)
CHRIST ALONE (Solus Christus)
Christ is the end of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes. – Romans 10:4 (NIV)
SCRIPTURE ALONE (Sola Scriptura)
so that you may learn from us the meaning of the saying, “Do not go beyond what is written.” – 1 Corinthians 4:6b (NIV)
GLORY TO GOD ALONE (Soli Deo Gloria)
“I am the LORD; that is my name! I will not give my glory to another or my praise to idols.” – Isaiah 42:8 (NIV)
