Do you believe it could yet be possible that it is instead a Mid-Tribulation or a Post-Tribulation Rapture?
NO WAY! You need to take a better look at the Biblical proof!
Revelation 6:9-11 (NKJV)
9 When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held. 10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?” 11 Then a white robe was given to each of them; and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were, was completed.
The souls under the altar here during the fifth seal judgment are the Tribulation saints who were martyred. Not all of the Tribulation saints are there yet because more will still be killed.
Since this is so, who then are these people that are mentioned after this?
Revelation 7:9-17 (NKJV)
9 After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, 10 and crying out with a loud voice, saying, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” 11 All the angels stood around the throne and the elders and the four living creatures, and fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, 12 saying:
“Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom,
Thanksgiving and honor and power and might,
Be to our God forever and ever.
13 Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, “Who are these arrayed in white robes, and where did they come from?” 14 And I said to him, “Sir, you know.” So he said to me, “These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15 Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His temple. And He who sits on the throne will dwell among them. 16 They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any heat; 17 for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”
These people are none other than the Church of Jesus Christ which came out from the great tribulation of this age. Jesus said, “In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” They could not be the saints of the Tribulation age since we already saw these saints under the altar crying out for vengeance. The Church, saved by grace through faith solely in Christ, does not cry out for vengeance but leaves vengeance to God, as it is written…
“Vengeance is mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. – Romans 12:19c (NKJV)
Look at the picture above to relate to this. How could the great number that stands before the throne also be the same group of Tribulation saints that is under the altar? This great number of saints must be the Church!
Since Mid-Tribulation happens after the 7th Trumpet judgment, well past the Seal judgments,
do you see that the Church is in Heaven BEFORE Mid-Tribulation? How did they get there?
By the Pre-Tribulation Rapture!
Besides Revelation chapter 12, and also chapter 13, which is a vision parenthetical in the chronology of Revelation, we see a clear order of events. Even the seven churches in Revelation chapter 2 and 3 are during the Church age apparently also represent seven ages within the Church age. In both the literal or the symbolic representations, the church in Philadelphia is promised by our Lord very clearly.
Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth. – Revelation 3:10 (NKJV)
If you still yet believe in a Mid-Tribulation Rapture or a Post-Tribulation Rapture, what other explanation do you have for the events in Revelation? Do you say that the “souls under the altar” are not the Tribulation saints and “the great multitude which no one could number” is not the Church? Then who are they? Perhaps you say that the events of the book of Revelation are not really in chronological order?
How much of the Bible do you need to explain away to justify doctrines contrary to the Pre-Tribulation Rapture?
“Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.” – Matthew 25:13 (NKJV)
If there were a Mid-Tribulation Rapture or a Post-Tribulation Rapture, it would be known the day and the hour the Lord comes. He would be right on schedule, if that were the case. Since it will be a Pre-Tribulation Rapture the day nor the hour is not known.
Therefore, be PRE-TRIBULATION Rapture ready!
