If we are told not to forget to forget something. Are we not actually brought to remember what we are told to forget? Yet it is that Torah commands this in Deuteronomy 25:17-19

17 Remember what Amalek did to you on the way as you were coming out of Egypt, 18 how he met you on the way and attacked your rear ranks, all the stragglers at your rear, when you were tired and weary; and he did not fear God. 19 Therefore it shall be, when the LORD your God has given you rest from your enemies all around, in the land which the LORD your God is giving you to possess as an inheritance, that you will blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven. You shall not forget.

Somewhat of an oxymoron, is this not? The Israelites had not yet crossed to the Promised Land. Yet, this command of God to forget Amalek was to be remembered through Torah when they did, as well as why.

Amalak is remembered a number of times in Torah…

Genesis 36:12-16

12 Now Timna was the concubine of Eliphaz, Esau’s son, and she bore Amalek to Eliphaz. These were the sons of Adah, Esau’s wife. 13 These were the sons of Reuel: Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah. These were the sons of Basemath, Esau’s wife. 14 These were the sons of Aholibamah, Esau’s wife, the daughter of Anah, the daughter of Zibeon. And she bore to Esau: Jeush, Jaalam, and Korah. 15 These were the chiefs of the sons of Esau. The sons of Eliphaz, the firstborn son of Esau, were Chief Teman, Chief Omar, Chief Zepho, Chief Kenaz, 16 Chief Korah, Chief Gatam, and Chief Amalek. These were the chiefs of Eliphaz in the land of Edom. They were the sons of Adah.

Exodus 17:8-16

8 Now Amalek came and fought with Israel in Rephidim. 9 And Moses said to Joshua, “Choose us some men and go out, fight with Amalek. Tomorrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of God in my hand.” 10 So Joshua did as Moses said to him, and fought with Amalek. And Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill. 11 And so it was, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed; and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed. 12 But Moses’ hands became heavy; so they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it. And Aaron and Hur supported his hands, one on one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun. 13 So Joshua defeated Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword. 14Then the LORD said to Moses, “Write this for a memorial in the book and recount it in the hearing of Joshua, that I will utterly blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.” 15 And Moses built an altar and called its name, The-LORD-Is-My-Banner; 16 for he said, “Because the LORD has sworn: the LORD will have war with Amalek from generation to generation.”

Numbers 24:20

Then he looked on Amalek, and he took up his oracle and said:
“Amalek was first among the nations, but shall be last until he perishes.”

Amalek is also brought to not being forgotten due to the Holy Bible mentions of him in the book of Judges together with mention of the Amalekites.

Actually, it is that Amalek is not supposed to be remembered in a positive way. This is how Amalek is to be forgotten.

The Mummy in the Basement http://maverickchristians.com/2021/11/10/the-mummy-in-the-basement/ Wed, 10 Nov 2021 12:50:16 +0000 http://maverickchristians.com/?p=17051 by Theodore Wright.

The Mummy in the BasementWhen I was in the beginning of 7th grade in school I heard three “myths” in the Junior High School I attended, which consequently covered 7th through 9th grades. These myths were 1) to find where classrooms were to “take the elevator to the eighth floor”. 2) We were also told of the “swimming pool on the roof” and about 3) “the mummy in the basement”.

Well, quickly in 7th grade I found there was no eighth floor in the junior high school and the elevator was only a dumbwaiter to carry books between three floors. In 8th grade I saw, when looking out a classroom window on a rainy day, a part of a roof on the top of part of a lower floor looked like a swimming pool. Thus, I found out about this. Another myth.

By the time I reached 9th grade in school, I never saw a mummy in the school that I was told of in the beginning of 7th grade. I had already considered all these stories as myths. That was until I saw my history teacher in the basement when I was on my way to choir practice. I saw him moving a sarcophagus within a storage room there. To my surprise, I found out it was true! There really was a “mummy in the basement”! It wasn’t just the casket, it was occupied by an old skeleton. In class. the teacher opened the casket and we saw the mummy. A classmate even touched the skeleton.

Just because certain stories told sound like myths or are easily confused with such, it doesn’t necessarily mean they must be false just because it sounds like other incredulous tales. The question is, “What evidence is there of validity?”. There are a number of people who still do not believe in the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ, simply because they did not do a proper examination of the historical evidence.

Get the facts for yourself and ask, “Did Jesus Christ bodily rise from the dead or did He not?” What you will find is, if you haven’t discovered already, is that Jesus Christ is truly and bodily risen! Is this the your “mummy in the basement” or “skeleton in the closet”?

By this discovery and placing your trusting faith in Jesus for your salvation you receive the free gift of eternal life as well as the forgiveness of all your sins. You will have a prayer line to God in Jesus’ name and can learn to hear God in return. Not only will you be able to hear God in through Holy Bible reading but also personally, hearing from Him. Discovering the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ was the most wonderful experience in My life.

The Apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 15:3-7 (NKJV)…
3 For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, 5 and that He was seen by Cephas, then by the twelve. 6 After that He was seen by over five hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain to the present, but some have fallen asleep. 7 After that He was seen by James, then by all the apostles. 8 Then last of all He was seen by me also, as by one born out of due time.

Not quite a “swimming pool on the roof”, is it now?

Did you doubt about Jesus? I suppose a lot of us have. Even Jesus’ earthly family did not believe in Him until He was risen from the dead, then they all believed in Him. There is no reason to put this matter off. Place your trusting faith in Jesus now and be saved.

Why doesn’t God speak to us anymore? http://maverickchristians.com/2021/05/11/why-doesnt-god-speak-to-us-anymore/ Tue, 11 May 2021 19:17:25 +0000 http://maverickchristians.com/?p=16904 I have read this asked in a forum on the web… “Why doesn’t God speak to us anymore?”

The writer continues and says…

“In the Old Testament there are verses where God speaks to people and I wish God could speak to me like he did to other people for example Abram. Why is God no longer speaking to us? I never hear his voice.”

Which was replied…

“The story of the Bible is the story of God’s self-revelation to the world. In the OT, God speaks to a people (Israel) and individuals (the Patriarchs, Prophets, etc.) in order to tell the world about himself. God no longer speaks in a ‘revelatory’ matter (i.e. about himself) because the fullness of God was revealed in Jesus. So, if you want to know what God thinks or the kinds of things God would say, read the words of Jesus.”

While, I would agree, that we should read the words of Jesus, as well as the whole Bible, yet God still speaks to His people, even individually and as a whole. Also, believers in Jesus still do hear the voice of God. If you think you do not hear the voice of God, the problem is that you are not listening.

This is what Jesus told us…

My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.
– John 10:27-28 (NKJV)

Yes, the fullness of God is revealed in Jesus Christ, therefore, do not do like some others may, be denying the words of Jesus while merely and glibly acclaiming them.

There are a number of ministers in churches, Cessationist ones, who believe that the gifts of the Holy Spirit ended with the early church. They also believe that God does not speak by His word by His Holy Spirit anymore since they believe that only happened in Apostolic times. If that is the case, then the gospel ended then, too. If this were true then the Holy Bible would only be an old book for a previous age.

Anyone who tells you that God doesn’t speak to the believers in Him anymore is lying and does not stand by what Jesus Himself said.

The Holy Bible is complete as the revelation of God’s covenant and it does show the kinds of things God does say. Yet, He still speaks to the individual believer in Him. Also, God is not finished revealing Himself. He guarantees to those who trust in Him, through His Son Jesus, the gift of eternal life and they hear Him.

And there are also many other things that Jesus did, which if they were written one by one,
I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that would be written. Amen. – John 21:25 (NKJV)

Will I go to Hell for getting angry? http://maverickchristians.com/2021/03/16/will-i-go-to-hell-for-getting-angry/ Tue, 16 Mar 2021 19:41:04 +0000 http://maverickchristians.com/?p=16840 by Theodore Wright.

This is not exactly what the Holy Bible says…

But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother shall be answerable to the court; and whoever says to his brother, ‘You good-for-nothing,’ shall be answerable to the supreme court; and whoever says, ‘You fool,’ shall be guilty enough to go into the fiery hell. – Matthew 5:22 (NASB)

Being angry is more common than most people want to admit about themselves. Do we face the judgment to be doomed to eternal torment for it?   Actually, no.

So, the Bible says I still go to “the court” for being angry? You should read about how this is said in the King James Version Bible (and those versions like it)…

But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire. – Matthew 5:22 (KJV)

Actually, the Bible does says not only that we are allowed to get angry. We are actually commanded to be angry.

Be angry, and yet do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, – Ephesians 4:26 (NASB)

Jesus Himself showed His anger when the Temple was used for profit gain. It was not the key region of the temple but rather the money changing was done in the outer Court of the Gentiles.

Thus, the gentiles were hindered from worshipping God at the Temple. This is what made Jesus angry. Are you saying that Jesus did not have a cause for being angry? Are you saying that Jesus sinned? We do NOT go to Hell for having a righteous cause for getting angry. Also, through faith in Jesus we receive the forgiveness of sins.

John 2:13-16 (KJV)…

13 And the Jews’ passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. 14 And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting: 15 And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers’ money, and overthrew the tables; 16 And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father’s house an house of merchandise.

Yes, it is true that God gets angry and He will be angry with you if you will not repent and place your trusting faith in His Son Jesus to be saved…

He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. – John 3:36 (KJV)

Abstaining from blood and things strangled http://maverickchristians.com/2021/02/10/abstaining-from-blood-and-things-strangled/ Wed, 10 Feb 2021 16:10:53 +0000 http://maverickchristians.com/?p=16728 by Theodore Wright.

YES! We do have freedom of foods…

For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be refused if it is received with thanksgiving; for it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer. – 1 Timothy 4:4-5 (NKJV)

Still, there are exceptions to the freedom of foods for believers…

that you abstain from things offered to idols, from blood, from things strangled, and from sexual immorality. If you keep yourselves from these, you will do well. – Acts 15:29 (NKJV)

The liberty of eating diverse foods is established for New Testament times. This is emphasized in detail in Romans chapter 14…

14 I know and am convinced by the Lord Jesus that there is nothing unclean of itself; but to him who considers anything to be unclean, to him it is unclean. 15 Yet if your brother is grieved because of your food, you are no longer walking in love. Do not destroy with your food the one for whom Christ died. 16 Therefore do not let your good be spoken of as evil; 17 for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. 18 For he who serves Christ in these things is acceptable to God and approved by men. 19 Therefore let us pursue the things which make for peace and the things by which one may edify another. 20 Do not destroy the work of God for the sake of food. All things indeed are pure, but it is evil for the man who eats with offense. 21 It is good neither to eat meat nor drink wine nor do anything by which your brother stumbles or is offended or is made weak. 22 Do you have faith? Have it to yourself before God. Happy is he who does not condemn himself in what he approves. 23 But he who doubts is condemned if he eats, because he does not eat from faith; for whatever is not from faith is sin. – Romans 14:14-23 (NKJV)

Yet, we do need to be aware, exceptions have been raised in New Testament regarding certain edibles…

22 Then it pleased the apostles and elders, with the whole church, to send chosen men of their own company to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas, namely, Judas who was also named Barsabas, and Silas, leading men among the brethren. 23 They wrote this letter by them: The apostles, the elders, and the brethren, To the brethren who are of the Gentiles in Antioch, Syria, and Cilicia: Greetings. 24 Since we have heard that some who went out from us have troubled you with words, unsettling your souls, saying, “You must be circumcised and keep the law”–to whom we gave no such commandment– 25 it seemed good to us, being assembled with one accord, to send chosen men to you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul, 26 men who have risked their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. 27 We have therefore sent Judas and Silas, who will also report the same things by word of mouth. 28 For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things: 29 that you abstain from things offered to idols, from blood, from things strangled, and from sexual immorality. If you keep yourselves from these, you will do well. Farewell. – Acts 15:22-29 (NKJV)

In the Philippines there are eaten meals which are called, namely, “dinuguan” and “balut”. Dinuguan is a Philippine savory stew of meat or pork in a rich and spicy darkened gravy of pig blood, chili, garlic, and vinegar. Balut is a fertilized and developing embryo of an egg which is boiled then eaten from within its shell. Dinuguan, clearly, is a meal of blood. Balut is a strangled unborn duck. These are not supposed to be eaten. They are not foods and they are not set at liberty by the Lord to be eaten.

Why must there be various denominations? http://maverickchristians.com/2020/11/30/why-must-there-be-various-denominations/ Mon, 30 Nov 2020 21:16:21 +0000 http://maverickchristians.com/?p=16137 by Theodore Wright

The existence of various denominations with slightly varying doctrines disturbs many people even if they preach the same basic gospel. They think that if there were just one church denomination for everyone, the whole world would become a better place. If this were the case, God would do it. However, He doesn’t. Why not? Because disaster would result instead. Christ’s true church is indeed ONE, yet it is NOT one denomination. Yet this matter changes when Christ returns.

There used to be just one language in the world when one tower of Babel built. Did the people obey God’s command to populate the world and go across it. NO! They just stayed in Babel to build the tower. It was not until God confused the languages, then they went out in order to find people whom they could understand and be understood by.

“So God blessed Noah and his sons, and said to them:
“Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth.”
– Genesis 9:1 (NKJV)

Today, God set matters with a multitude of denominations, preventing them all from being incorporated into one denomination to be swallowed up as one “super-cult” which would cause all Christendom to be made, resultantly, apostate.

“For there must also be factions among you,
that those who are approved may be recognized among you.”
– 1 Corinthians 11:19 (NKJV)

Yes, there are some cults out there but the devil has defeated those churches already to successfully get them to depart from faith in God solely through His Son Jesus Christ. Some churches, but it is not every church. More churches later do depart from faith in Jesus, yet new churches also begin. The devil’s pitchfork just cannot triumphantly stab all the churches, and most certainly not in one shot.

Before unwelcome relations arrive http://maverickchristians.com/2020/11/09/before-unwelcome-relations-arrive/ Mon, 09 Nov 2020 14:47:53 +0000 http://maverickchristians.com/?p=16072 by Theodore Wright.

Feeling unwelcome by family is uncomfortable and certainly it is not pleasant to be disliked by your own of whom you expect to be loved. Still, if you are willing to admit it, you should realize that people can become irritating without even being aware of it due to their own behavior they are not acute to. Yet, is such the way for believers in Jesus over what may be accounted as trivial matters?

My mother and father used to find this prayer humorous, reading this to each other and our aunt and uncle. No, my family members were not discourteous with each other. The contest would be among them to be able to read and/or hear this prayer without laughing. They did find it difficult not to laugh.

This prayer is by Walter L. Cook…

O Lord, they will be driving into the yard any minute. There is no welcome for them in my heart. The conversation sill drag and there will be awkward silences. Why is it that those who are closest to us in kinship are often farthest from us in spirit, those we should know best are most difficult to understand?

Forgive me, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. If at first I cannot be cordial, at least may I be courteous. While the visit lasts I pray that I may show no evidence of boredom or irritation. Give me a hospitable heart and teach me that I should be gracious and responsive. Help me to find some common ground with my visitors upon which friendship and companionship may be established. Amen.

Is this the way you truly wish for you and your home? …

“Be sure you wipe your feet first before you go.”

Matthew 10:12-15 says…

“And when ye come into an house, salute it. And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you. And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.”

The hazards of Catholic Charismatics http://maverickchristians.com/2020/10/07/the-hazards-of-catholic-charismatics/ Wed, 07 Oct 2020 16:30:24 +0000 http://maverickchristians.com/?p=15965 They are called “Charismatics” yet you need to remember they are still Roman Catholic.

CATHOHOLICS ANONYMOUS

If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. – John 8:36

It gets often reported about those Roman Catholics who have become “born-again” that they attended groups of Catholic Charismatics. Is this true? Actually, a number of Roman Catholics did get saved after receiving the gospel. As a result of true salvation, however, they looked for new churches to go to.

For the Scripture says in 2 Corinthians 6:14-18…

14 Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? 15 And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? 16 And what agreement has the temple of God with idols?
For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said:

              “I will dwell in them
              And walk among them.
              I will be their God,
And they shall be My people.”

17 Therefore

              “Come out from among them
And be separate, says the Lord.
Do not touch what is unclean,
              And I will receive you.”
18 “I will be a Father to you,
And you shall be My sons and daughters,
              Says the Lord Almighty.”

Those who stay in the Roman Catholic, subsequent to getting saved by trusting faith in Jesus Christ, get lured back into the beliefs of Roman Catholicism or some hybrid all over again. Hence, the hazard.

Still there are a number of Roman Catholics attending meetings of Catholic Charismatics who speak in tongues and prophesy. Are they saved just because they exhibit such gifts? NO! Some of them will even prophesy in the name of Mary. You need to remember that they are not “born-again” they are CATHOLIC Charismatics.

While the Roman Catholic hierarchy says publicly they question about the legitimacy of the Catholic Charismatic movement, they yet privately say to this movement, “Go! Go! Go!” There have been Protestants that have been deceived into believing these people are all saved and have been led into the error of Ecumenicalism and even converted to Roman Catholicism. Still, is the Church of Rome watering down the liquor or liquoring up the water? The Roman church has their own ecumenical purposes for their Catholic Charismatic meetings, namely, in order to win over the Protestants.

Do as the LORD says to do in 2 Corinthians 6:17 and “Come out from among them and be separate“.

Expected to worship Mary? http://maverickchristians.com/2020/10/05/expected-to-worship-mary/ Mon, 05 Oct 2020 13:42:59 +0000 http://maverickchristians.com/?p=15865 And it came to pass, as he spake these things, a certain woman of the company lifted up her voice, and said unto him, Blessed is the womb that bare thee, and the paps which thou hast sucked. But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it. – Luke 11:27-28

CATHOHOLICS ANONYMOUS

If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. – John 8:36

Indeed, Roman Catholics know they are not supposed to worship Mary since Mary is not God but does that really change matters? They will tell you, “Oh, no! We don’t worship Mary! We pray to Mary.”

Then, when you ask other Roman Catholics, they will tell you, “Oh, no! We don’t pray to Mary! We honor Mary!”
So which is it that the Roman Catholic Church tells their people to do?

Below are NOT “checkboxes”, they are “radio buttons” since this is NOT multiple choice.
What does the Roman Catholic church TELL you to do…

    WORSHIP MARY
    PRAY TO MARY
    HONOR MARY

(Are you STILL clicking multiple radio buttons? For shame on you.)

Well, here is the Roman Catholic Church’s own answer from the Catechism of the Catholic Church…

971 “All generations will call me blessed”: “The Church’s devotion to the Blessed Virgin is intrinsic to Christian worship.” The Church rightly honors “the Blessed Virgin with special devotion. From the most ancient times the Blessed Virgin has been honored with the title of ‘Mother of God,’ to whose protection the faithful fly in all their dangers and needs. . . . This very special devotion . . . differs essentially from the adoration which is given to the incarnate Word and equally to the Father and the Holy Spirit, and greatly fosters this adoration.” The liturgical feasts dedicated to the Mother of God and Marian prayer, such as the rosary, an “epitome of the whole Gospel,” express this devotion to the Virgin Mary.

There you have it! While Roman Catholics are not, according to their favorite denomination, supposed to worship Mary like she is God, they are still expected to worship Mary.

How many times and websites are supposed Roman Catholic people saying otherwise to you in order to pacify others who are outsiders to the Roman church? It goes on a lot. Still, don’t be fooled.

Also, don’t let someone play with your mind about what the CCC plainly says… “The Church’s devotion to the Blessed Virgin is intrinsic to Christian worship.” The word “intrinsic” means that it belongs naturally and is essential. In reality, even lesser forms of worship, if there really are such, is still worship.

The Holy Bible says to worship GOD! Revelation 22:9 has the text of the angel speaking with the Apostle John… But he said to me, “You must not do that! I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers the prophets, and with those who keep the words of this book. Worship God.” No, the Apostle John was not told to worship Mary nor anyone else, neither instead nor in addition.

You understand this straight! You are supposed to worship GOD and none other! Yes, Jesus Christ is God the Son, so YES, you should worship Jesus!

That’s right! You have been lied to by the Roman Catholic Church.
Now, cut the excuses and REPENT!

The “Duck and Cover” Scapulars http://maverickchristians.com/2020/10/04/the-duck-and-cover-scapulars/ Sun, 04 Oct 2020 16:47:25 +0000 http://maverickchristians.com/?p=15809 Do scapulars really protect you from the flames of Purgatory or Hell?

CATHOHOLICS ANONYMOUS

If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. – John 8:36

When there was fear of Atomic war in the 1950s, the public could easily gone into panic if it were not for the “Duck and Cover” policy promoted. Scapulars are Roman Catholicism’s own version of “Duck and Cover”, a feigned hope.

“Duck and Cover” was taught for even children attending public school with films showed about it then. Roman Catholics have their own fear, namely that of Purgatory. Would you find it comfortable to believe that after you die, if you are found faithful in the Roman Catholic Church, that you will burn for centuries in the fires of Purgatory? They teach that these fires are equal to that of Hell. The scapular itself says that it will save you from “eternal torment”. Will this object actually reduce your time burning if you really think you are going to Purgatory? Honestly, do you believe that wearing this thing can save you from the judgment of God despite even your willful sins?

The Roman Catholic Church will not want to tell you about this scapular either since they collect so much money from people paying for indulgences. Still, if some believe in Roman Catholicism, even the fear of Purgatory can freak them out so there exists something that may keep members from leaving. So, the Roman Catholic Church has this old teaching, which is not actually approved and canonized in the Roman Church, but is still yet commonly believed. Scapulars, in fact, actually help nobody.

The scapular of “Our Lady of Mount Carmel” is said, among many Roman Catholics, that “whosoever dies wearing this Scapular shall not suffer eternal fire” and even told to grant relief from Purgatory. Would that include “Non-Catholics”, too? Could this lady really be telling the truth from anyone’s perspective? Still, due to the words of this scapular, there are many Roman Catholics who will always wear this scapular even when sleeping or showering.

This scapular encourages a lame excuse for a lack accountability before God. It tosses aside any kind of resemblance to faith in God. It does not save people from the eternal torment of Hell nor does it save anybody from a place which does not actually even exist, called Purgatory.

Although ducking under a desk might save some people from the blinding light of an atomic blast, it would not protect them from the blast itself, bring down the building, nor would it save them from the oncoming radiation. Still, being taught “Duck and Cover” gave them something they could feel they were doing which would distract them from the possible horrible circumstances. There would be no deliverance from the explosion and lethal radiation.

Likewise, scapulars will save nobody from Purgatory because that place does not exist. Neither yet do they save anyone from Hell, nor the “Day of Judgement”, nor even yet the dreaded eternal “Lake of Fire”. No scapular will save you from those. Now you know. O.K., that’s the bad news for many Roman Catholics.

Now for some good news! There is something that really will save you from the flames of Hell and the Lake of Fire… Trusting faith in God solely through His Son Jesus Christ. Jesus shed His blood to take the full penalty of your sins on the cross so you wouldn’t have to take the penalty yourself in any flames at all.

Place your trusting faith in Jesus now! Jesus will change your life for the better and turn you away from your sins and will work in your life both to will and to do for His good pleasure. The eternal joys in Heaven will await you.
