Scriptural Encouragement

What makes this animal so fierce?

by Theodore Wright.

What is commonly cited as the most dangerous land creature among fierce animals is the Black Mamba. Actually, these snakes are of a brownish color. This snake which may strike without provocation and very quickly with its poisonous venom. Could there be an animal more fierce than this? There is…

Have you heard of this animal? It is called the Bajuba.

“Why is this animal so fierce?”

Do such wild animals go to Heaven? This Bible verse was quoted…

“But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.”
– Revelation 22:15 (NKJV)

Among animals, do only kitties posthumously enter the glories of eternal bliss while puppies burn in eternal torment after they die?

I certainly do not believe that! The “dogs” referred to here are not canines but humans whose perverted faith results in depraved behavior.

Wild animals will not be wild in the resurrection because even animals surviving the Tribulation age are said to be peaceful. Isaiah 11:16a mentions that “The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb”.

The Holy Bible actually does not discuss in detail the salvation of animals due to that its primary purpose is to reveal the salvation of mankind. This salvation comes through trusting faith in God solely through His Son Jesus Christ. However, the Scriptures do say…

“Who knows the spirit of the sons of men, which goes upward, and the spirit of the animal, which goes down to the earth?”
– Ecclesiastes 3:21 (NKJV)

So, do pussycats go up in the rapture?

GET REAL! No, they dont. It is the rapture of the saints. Leaving extra cat food behind for them for the time after you are raptured won’t help them either. Food prices will grow enormous and cause starvation. People left behind will eat it. However, if you are seriously concerned for your cats, there is a related site.

We can see, from the Holy Scriptures, that animals do have spirits. It is mentioned that they go downward to the earth but what about the resurrection? I believe that all animals are not generally resurrected. However if, when we are raised from the dead, you had a pet and you asked the Lord to raise it from the dead, it is my personal conviction that our loving Lord would do so.

The paramount issue, however, is our own salvation. The salvation of humans..

And he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ,
and you will be saved, you and your household.” Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all who were in his house.”
– Acts 16:30-32 (NKJV)

Still, for those concerned about their own animals…

And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.
– Hebrews 4:13 (NKJV)

The glorious awakening is coming. Luke 8:19-23 (NKJV) reads…

19 For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. 20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; 21 because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. 22 For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. 23 Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body.
